OVERVIEW
Join Kris Andres and Manu Keggenhoff for an unforgettable photography workshop on the shores of Kluane Lake, one of the most breathtaking locations in the Yukon Territory, Canada. This extended late-summer weekend takes place at the stunning Yukon Lake Cabins, right on the edge of Kluane National Park and Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its glaciers, rugged mountains, and pristine wilderness.
Designed for photographers of all levels, this workshop combines hands-on field sessions, classroom learning, and guided editing tutorials to help you refine your skills. You'll learn to capture both the intimate details of nature and the grandeur of sweeping mountain landscapes, while experimenting with techniques like long exposure, black & white photography, and creative use of filters.
Each day includes sunrise and sunset shoots, field demonstrations, and the exciting possibility of photographing wildlife, the northern lights (aurora borealis), and the star-filled Yukon skies.
With expert guidance from the OFFBEAT Photography team, this workshop is more than just technical training, it’s about honing your vision as a storyteller in the wilderness, building community, and leaving with images you'll treasure for a lifetime.

ACCOMMODATIONS AND TRANSPORTATION
Your home for the duration of the workshop is the Yukon Lake Cabins on the shores of Kluane Lake at Silver City. The price includes all meals, accommodation, and instruction. Please note, that transportation is not included. All meals will be catered including a variety of group sit-down meals at the cabins and packed lunches while out in the field.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Accommodations will be at Yukon Cabins, they're rustic and cozy and will be shared (roughly three participants per cabin). We will do our best, however, to accommodate friends/spouses (must all participating in the workshop) to ensure you room in the same cabin. Know, however, that cabin time is actually fairly minimal - we will be spending a lot of time in the field during this workshop; think of the cabin as the place you close your eyes between capturing magic.

Afterward, we'll share a hearty supper together, fueling up for our first photographic outing. Weather permitting, we'll head out for a golden Yukon sunset shoot right on the lake’s edge. And if the skies stay clear into the night, we may be treated to astro photography—or even the magic of the northern lights.
