OVERVIEW
April 23 - May 7, 2029
The Himalaya are the ultimate mountain destination and if you are looking for an incredible mix of trekking, culture, extreme mountain beauty all while mixing landscape, adventure, astro, and even portrait photography amidst the presence of some of the world's largest mountains, this photography adventure is for you!
Join the OFFBEAT team as we lead you through the famed Annapurna Base Camp circuit, showing you not only some of the most incredible sights this planet has to offer, but also expanding your creative vision amongst an incredible group of like-minded, adventurous participants.

ITINERARY
Day 1 - April 23, 2029
Arrival In Kathmandu
Reception and transfer to the hotel. Our team will pick you up at the airport and transport you to your deluxe Kahtmandu hotel where you can check in after long international travel and rest up.
Rest of the day rest and free, aside from a kick-off dinner with the group, where introductions will be made
and your group leaders will go over the upcoming adventure.
Day 2 - April 24, 2029
Morning flight to Pokhara and drive to Nayapul and trek to Ulleri (1960m / 4-5 hrs)
After breakfast you will be transferred to the domestic airport to take the scenic flight to Pokhara.
After 25 minutes flight, we arrive at Pokhara airport where our vehicles will be in waiting for us to take to Nayapul.
After arriving in Nayapul, our porters will preapre to carry your baggage to bring Ulleri. We will officially start the trek at this point, walking slowly to Hile where we will stop for lunch, and then continuing on the trek to reach Ulleri village.

Day 3 - April 25, 2029
Ulleri to Ghorepani (2800m /4-5hrs)
If the weather is good we will have breakfast enjoying the breathtaking views of Annapurna South.
After breakfast we continue our trek along an ascending trail through lush rhododendron forests, arriving at Nangethathi where we will have a break for lunch.
After lunch we continue our trek following the switchback trail to Ghorepani.
Day 4 - April 26, 2029
Excursion to Poon Hill (3210m)/Rest Day/Photography in Ghorepani (2800m)
Early in the morning by light of headlamps we leave our lodge to reach Poon Hill for majestic views of sunrise. Poon Hill is considered one of the best view points in the Annapurna Region for snow capped mountains, including some of the world’s highest peaks on earth.
After sunrise we will return to our lodge and rest the remainder of the day (with some village and area photography, of course!)
Day 5 - April 27, 2029
Trek to Tadapani (2630m /4-5hrs)
After breakfast we start our climbing towards Deurali (3200m).
After Deurali our trail starts ascending steep towards Banthanthi. We stop in Banthathi for lunch and after lunch another 1.5 hour trek will bring us to Tadapani village.

Day 6 - April 28, 2029
Tadapani to Sinuwa (2340m/ 5-6 hrs)
Leaving Tadapani, our trail becomes steeper, descending towards Jhule. After Jhule we walk a gradual path to Chhomrong village.
We will have lunch in Chhomrong and after lunch we gain 200m elevation, arriving in Sinuwa village (2360m).

Day 7 - April 29, 2029
Trek to Deurali (3200m /6-7 hrs)
After breakfast, we leave Sinuwa following dense forests of rhododendron, bamboo and oak, making our way towards Dodhan. In Dobhan, we will have a lunch break and after lunch continue the uphill trail towards Deurali.

Day 8 - April 30, 2029
Trek to Annapurna Base camp (4130m / 4-5 hrs)
Today, we leave Deurali following the Modi river to Machapuchhre Base camp (3700m). After a lunch at Machapuchhre Base Camp, we trek another 400 meters of altitude gain to reach the famed Annapurna Base Camp.

Day 9 - May 1, 2029
Explore Annapurna Base camp (4130m)
Today is the completely free day to explore Annapurna Base Camp. Our OFFBEAT will have many creative photography ideas to challenge you in this incredible environment, or if you just need a rest day, that's entirely up to you!
If conditions allow, we will focus on astrophotography during the evening, which is truly a highlight.

Day 10 - May 2, 2029
Trek to Bamboo (2310m /6-7 hrs)
After enjoying a beautiful sunrise view from Annapurna Base camp, and breakfast, we will embark on the trek back to Bamboo.

Day 11 - May 3, 2029
Trek to Jhinu Danda (178m / 6-7 hrs)
Today after breakfast we start our return journey on the return route to Chhomrong and continue down towards Jhinuwa via the steep steps. This is a big physical day but very rewarding to know at day's end that your trek is essentially completed.
Day 12 - May 4, 2029
Drive to Pokhara
This morning, we will take local jeeps to reach Pokhara, where the team can rest up in a beautiful hotel and soak up the pool and facilities.
Overnight at the Atithi Resort and Spa.
Day 13 - May 5, 2029
Flight to Kathmandu
Flight day! After breakfast we will drive to the airport and board our domestic flight to Kathmandu.
Upon arrival in Kathmandu you will be received and transferred to hotel.
The day will be free upon arrival to either rest or photograph the beautiful chaos of Kathmandu
Overnight hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 14 - May 6, 2029
After breakfast, as per your flight schedule, you will be transferred to airport for final departure.
PRICE AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE
Cost: CAD $9,600.00
Payment options: Full payment or CAD $1500 non-refundable deposit to secure a space with balance paid in instalments prior to Sept 1, 2028.
If you choose the deposit option + instalments, your payment schedule will be as follows (after initial deposit):
- Payment #1 $2025 CAD - due by February 1, 2027
- Payment #2: $2025 CAD - due by September 1, 2027
- Payment #3: $2025 CAD - due by January 1, 2028
- Payment #4: $2025 CAD - due by September 1, 2028
Single Supplement: $400 CAD - Note: single supplement not available during trek, only for the hotel nights in Kathmandu and Pokhara

- 1 nights hotel in Pokhara in twin Sharing with Breakfast

OTHER NOTES AND CONSIDERATIONS
Note: clients must be able to walk 10-20KM per day, at altitude, carrying a light day bag (heavier bags to be carried by porters).
Not all people can handle altitude, and it's very person-dependent. By signing up you agree that if you have to turn around due to altitude-related issues while en route, while our team while ensure you are safely transported to lower elevation, you may not be able to continue the trek without any refund or expense to OFFBEAT.

About Dave Brosha
Holding a passion for the world and an eye for the beauty it contains, Prince Edward Island-based, award-winning commercial, personal, and adventure photographer Dave Brosha is on a continual journey to seek out and capture the beauty of this world – whether it’s the beauty of some of the most extreme and pristine environments in the world or the beauty of some of a person’s most personal moments. In addition to living throughout northern Canada for much of his life, Dave has also lived in Asia and has travelled extensively through both the many provinces and territories of his native country and numerous countries abroad. An explorer at heart, his images – no matter what the genre – are full of heart and soul, and are a testament to the human spirit.
About Kahli Hindmarsh
Kahli is a landscape, night and adventure photographer originally from Australia. Now spending most of her time travelling between Canada and New Zealand, her work is a reflection of her passions; travel, mountains and inspiring landscapes. Often found hiking in the mountains or chasing the aurora in the middle of the night, Kahli enjoys the challenge of finding unique scenes and interesting light. Sharing these breathtaking landscapes with others while exploring the world is what motivates Kahli, hoping to inspire people to get out and explore for themselves. She has found a deeper purpose within photography by sharing what she has learned from her experience shooting in the field.
CANCELLATION INSURANCE POLICY
CANCELLATION: Spots are non-refundable but are transferable, with the exception of a $250 administration fee. For instance, we will provide a refund, minus the administration fee, if the participant is able to find someone else to take his or her spot and can sell/transfer the spot to a new participant. Please contact us at [email protected] to make arrangements.
Although extremely unlikely, OFFBEAT Photography Inc. reserves the right to cancel the tour at any time for a variety of reasons (i.e. if a minimum number of participants is not met or if unforeseen circumstances dramatically impacted cost of the tour or global conditions somehow warranted a cancellation). In the very unlikely event of a cancellation within OFFBEAT’s control, all monies/deposits made to OFFBEAT Photography Inc. would be refunded to participants, however, no compensation would be made for participant flight cancellation fees or any other associated travel costs. See Insurance Policy for more details.In the very unlikely event of a cancellation beyond OFFBEAT’s control (I.e global situation, act of God, war, medical outbreak, extreme weather, pandemic), every attempt would be made to rebook the tour within a period of two years. In this situation, no refunds would be given but every effort made to find participants a spot on the rescheduled tour or another upcoming OFFBEAT tour.
INSURANCE
It is not only advised but required that workshop participants have trip cancellation/interruption insurance, as well as emergency medical/illness insurance and rescue coverage (proof required within 4 months of departure).
Weather and other unforeseen factors can cause delays in travel, particularly from some of our more remote locations. It is the participant’s responsibility to cover any costs in the case of a travel delay of any length. Please ensure your trip cancellation/interruption insurance accommodates this possibility.
